What ancient humankind, primitive peoples and young children all over the world know instinctively, we as "modern" adults have lost.

Picture

Yet laughter has not lost its power to heal the body, the mind and the emotional self.

Laughter is probably the most powerful non-invasive intervention.

  • It balances the emotions according the Annette Goodheart, founder of Laughter Therapy. It balances important biochemistry in the body.
  • It is natures antidote to stress.
  • Stress is a major contributor in non-achievement, lack of motivation, communications breakdown and, according to the Mayo Clinic, is a contributing factor in 80% of all major illnesses.

Laughter brings you into the present: only in the present do we have the ability to act and to change our lives. The past is done and the future is an uncertainty, now is all that is real!

Laughter is good for business by Eric Tsytsylin of the Stanford Graduate School of Business

Do you experience the negative effects of STRESS daily?  then Laugh Daily !!!

Picture
aims to access this inner natural ability to laugh through simple techniques without employing comedy or jokes (because these are specific to each individual and translate with difficulty to others and are all to often based in fear and humiliation.)

encourages the daily practice of laughter.

has members: "I laugh daily, preferably for no reason."
has motivators: "I motivate others to laugh with me without being hurtful to others."
has teachers: "I teach laughter techniques to others that they can use to laugh daily."
Workshops introduce the technique and provide a clear understanding of the biochemistry of laughter as well as giving a handful of practices for participants to continue a practice of daily laughter.

What people say:

I trained as a Laughter Leader in November 2017. Since December 2017 I have been laughing in the car as I drive to my children who live 5km from me. I have noticed how my peripheral vision has increased as well as my general awareness of things around me. I notice plants and building in the veld surrounding my route, things that have been there for a long time and I've started noticing them only now. The feedback from your session with us on 27 February was simply phenomenal!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the laughter therapy, especially as we experienced a very traumatic 2012. We will be incorporating the exercises into our groups with the patients from next week. Your facilitating skills were amazing. Anthea
IT WAS FANTASTIC, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TEAM BUILDING.

Excellent. Really needed this. Colin
Was initially skeptical but towards the end of the workshop I realised I hadn’t laughed in a long time. My jaw is sore but I feel uplifted and ready to continue to practice the ‘take away’ exercises. Thanks. Fiona

Strong sense of freedom. Being ALIVE. “Nothing is impossible.” I can reach My Dreams and achieve My Goals. Marc

Absolutely amazing!! Made me realize what I have lost out by missing out on laughing every day. A big thank you for giving me back my childhood.

Very effective. A great belly laugh;brightened my day.

Very enjoyable. Helps to break barriers of shyness and encourages 'free' expression. Liberating!!!. Bux

Its so simple. Thank you for reinforcing my belief that laughter is the best medicine.
No matter what - let people call you "nuts" - its fun.
Quite effective, once I submerged myself and committed fully to the experience. I found it quite gripping. I also enjoyed learning about the effects of laughter versus stress.
At first I was very skeptical that I would gain any benefit from the workshop, however I was pleasantly surprises by the enjoyable experience. I will definitely use the tools I learned in my every day life. Thanks for the fun and vibrant afternoon JP. Candice

I experienced joy, happiness and intense connection with the other human beings, most of whom I had not met. Great High Energy levels. I feel alive, healthy and rejuvenated. My hands, stomach and mouth are aching. Wonderful experience which is a load of fun and which everyone should do. You are an excellent facilitator who got everyone going and kept them there. Thank you. Belinda

It was a very effective way of bonding with the team. At the same time it was physically and mentally relaxing. Overall a wonderful experience.
My throat cleared of mucus which causes difficulty with breathing. My stomach pain released; I'm now certain it was certain it was a flatulence problem. My body feels lighter.
"Very Good, Very Good". It was fun. Got to laugh so much it made me cry. I loved it.
